So many carefree days. Perhaps the best part was making lifelong friends with whom I am still in frequent contact,
despite living overseas for more than 40 years. Our 50th Reunion was a reaffirmation of how very fortunate we all were to grow up in a community such as San Marino in the time that we did. Considering how many years we spent together in San Marino schools, the 50th class reunion was really a "family" reunion as well.

A lively narrative, keep reading!
I have lived overseas for the past forty years. After four years residing in England, we moved to Saudi Arabia. We spent two years in the Eastern Province town of Al Khobar. Our next destination was Holland where we resided for three years. In 1981 we returned to England where we have remained ever since. While living overseas, we have had the wonderful opportunity to travel extensively throughout the UK and Europe, Scandinavia, India, Nepal, Middle East (Iran, Afghanistan, Egypt, Saudi, Emirates, Israel, Lebanon,) Turkey, Greece, South and East Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Bali, Indonesia, Borneo, the Caribbean Islands, Costa Rica, Panama and the Far East. I should also include the US, Mexico and Canada. We have done well on the "100 Places to Visit" lists!
My other interests besides travel are tennis, golf, skiing, scuba diving, gardening, needlepoint and antiques. I have been particularly involved in animal rescue, and volunteered for nine years at Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, a rescue center. I did coursework for a degree in Animal Behavior at Southampton University. Consequently, we always have a full house of rescue dogs and cats! We have owned three Newfoundlands and surprisingly became involved in the show ring as one of our dogs was a Crufts Champion!
I have been married to Ben, (a Stanford graduate and a lawyer) for 46 years, and have two grown children. My son, Andrew, lives in Southern California and is married with two daughters and a baby on the way. My daughter Lauren is a wildlife illustrator and has a Masters Degree from the Royal College of Art. She is married with a son and happily lives nearby.
So I have certainly had a full and rewarding time since graduating from SMHS. Over the years I have fortunately been able to keep in contact with several of our classmates, and I loved the opportunity to catch up with so many others at our Reunion.
