A Great Ride, Going the Distance
Best Memories at SMHS
Senior year being a cheerleader and doing cheers during the lunch hour on the patio roof....what a hoot!
After Graduation
College: Colorado Woman’s College 2 years then to Woodbury College, where I graduated. Taught at Alverno High School, Alhambra High School and at Woodbury College.
Married to David Snyder in 1967. Still going strong. Two kids, our daughter, Tori who has two kids, Natalie and Blake. Son, Todd, and his wife Kate have two kids, Ainsley and William. This makes four grandkids, so life is grand!
Moved to Fair Oaks (Sacramento area) in 1976, built our house in 1978 and we’re still here.
Volunteered throughout the entire kids school years – should have been paid.
Authored two books: First book was co-authored, the subject matter was How to Get Into College. Second book was a collection of all their childhood receipts and was titled The White Hat Cookbook. Took two years, plus tons of computer paper, a new printer and ended up being some 340+ pages. A true labor of love.
David and I both experienced some serious health problems which we survived and happy to say we are very healthy!
Traveled to Asia, Europe, Africa, Canada and Mexico and of course much of the good old U.S. of A.
David was a real estate developer forever and retired just a few years ago.
We are hitting the road more to see the grand kids in Denver and SoCal along with visiting lots of friends along the way.
It’s been a great ride and hope it goes on for as long as we can hold up.
