FAVORITE HIGH SCHOOL MEMORIES
All the activities with Junior Statesmen under the supervision of “Bear” Stevens.
Attending all the Titan football games as well as all the SMHS sports events.
While not a fond memory, I must mention that for most of my childhood I trained as a figure skater. I had dreams of someday training for the Olympics, only to have that dream shattered in 1961 due to a skiing accident.
LIFE SINCE HIGH SCHOOL:
I attended UCLA Dental School in 1963.
In 1972, I married Frank Kleiger, a musician and songwriter. We divorced in 1980.
I helped establish and run the Canyon Cabin Recording Studio with David Johnson, composer.
I sailed through the 70s and 80s and then met George L. Gaal, who was a top recording engineer. He owned a sound company called Tyco Bray. George became an international computer programmer for companies such as Elizabeth Arden Corp. and others. We lived, and I still do, in the famous Laurel Canyon community of Los Angeles. Laurel Canyon is well known for the artists, actors, and musicians who live there. After 27 years of togetherness, George passed away in 2011.
I was never blessed or cursed, as the case may be, to have children, but I am extremely close to the son of one of my closest friends. As a typical old lady, I love cats and have always had cats. Currently I have two, Dawson and Luha, who allow me to share their home.
