It seems like a blink of an eye! Has it really been 50 years since we graduated from San Marino High School in June, 1962?   50 years – One college degree, two husbands and eight grandchildren basically says it all.   

After graduating from San Marino High, I attended the University of Arizona and received my BA. During that time, I married my first husband and we had two children.  My current husband of 24 years, Steve Straub, is still working as a CFO. He has one daughter and between us, we have eight grandchildren, ranging in age from 2-12 years old. 

I owned a Hallmark store for 18 years and retired in 2008. Since then, we have been fortunate to travel a lot, taking about six trips a year.

Through my faith and a good sense of humor, I am a breast cancer survivor and have never felt better. I am also busy with my church, taking care of grandchildren and enjoying friends and family. When you get to this age, you realize how blessed you are, especially to have your health. Life is good.
